Born in Birmingham, England on April 20, 1929, Pamela slipped away quietly and peacefully on March 16th, surrounded by her beloved sons and their loving wives. Pamela “kept calm and carried on” through life with courage and humor, surviving the Great Depression, the bombs of the Second World War, immigration, raising three sons, and two battles with cancer. She was dedicated to her loving husband Les, who predeceased her in 2004. Pamela was a wonderful mother with a gentle sense of humor. Thanks to her, our home was filled with books, music, her wonderful paintings, and the sounds of her beautiful operatic voice and infectious laugh. The kettle was always on the boil, ready for tea and a chat. Missed already and always. Pamela leaves behind her sons Mark (Joanne) of Toronto, Andrew/Peter (Kathi) of Mississauga, and Carl (Andrea) of Stratford along with grandchildren Jennifer, Colin, Geoffrey, Alexander, Jasmine and Callan. Survived by her brother Clive and his family in Britain, and sister-in-law Christine and family in California. Thanks to Dr. Philbrook and Streetsville Care Community for your care. Cremation has taken place. In Lieu of flowers or donations, hug your mother or someone you love.
