Obituary
Linda Joyce (Carney) O'Connor of Port Elgin, formerly of Chesley and Erin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Chapman House, Owen Sound on May 19th, 2019 in her 73rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Bruce O'Connor (2000). Loving mother of Shawn (Krista) of London, Christa of Waterloo and Adam of Port Elgin. Linda will be dearly missed by her loving grandchildren Jared, Charlie and Finn as well as her siblings Joan (Bill) Cunningham of Southampton, John (Marion) Carney of Erin and brother-in-law Darwinlee Watt of Fergus. She will forever be remembered by Bruce's siblings Donna (Steve) Field, Phil (Joan), Peter, Robert and Edith (Paul) McCartney. Linda was predeceased by her sister Donna Watt, sister in law Bonnie O’Connor and her parents Cecil and Leona (Martin) Carney.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at Lakeshore Recreation Centre in Port Elgin on Saturday June 1st, 2019 from 1:00-4:00p.m. with words of remembrances at 2:30. A private family committal service will be held at the Erin Union Cemetery.
