Lost too soon Friday April 26 2019 in Sudbury ON. Adoring father to Sam and Ryan, loving son to Laura(nee Marchment) and David Pyke (predeceased in 2008), loyal brother to Shannon (Haley) Pyke, and Nicole (John) Valentine. Roland will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Lorraine, Nixon, Pierce, Rosemary, Graeme, Bryce and McKenna. Loved dearly by all his aunts uncles and cousins. He will rest with his father in Erin. Raised in Georgetown with small town values Roland became a millwright by trade. Rolly made every single person feel that no matter what, he had all the time in the world for them, their problems, their stories. Never missing an opportunity to laugh and play with children. Today we are remembering him as the person who brought music and loud laughter into any room he entered, the guy who could fix anything because he inherited his fathers mechanically geared brain. A mind that kept him busy repairing, re-working and creating as well as his incredibly generous spirit that allowed him to connect with anyone from all walks of life.
